Uber App Lock was written by the same developer as Uber Device Locker. The demo was downloaded and a single program was successfully locked. To lock multiple apps the full version needed to be purchased for $1.99 which was done after switching out old credit card information for PayPal account information. The app is not as reliable as the device locker from what has been observed.

A privacy screen protector was installed using the hinge method as shown by minh8080. The privacy screen protector reduces visibility unless the viewing angle is perpendicular to the screen. This reduces the problem of shoulder surfing.
