The pinheads for the motherboard-daughterboard were reconfigured to have the ability to use the switch terminals without the need for a second set of terminals to choose from when installing switches. This required some critical thinking. The connectors had to be moved from their locations on the screen to a new location. The connectors used to be three pins but have changed to six pins to accommodate the switches and carry RAW voltage. The addition of the RAW voltage is so power can be brought in from either side of the board or split power from the board.

The routing was attempted for the board layout. The program routes for a top and bottom layer but presumably the chosen board manufacturer only uses single layer boards. The shape of the circuitboard couldn't be modified so a wire was drawn around the restricted area and no wires were routed through that area. This is the area which will be used for installing the wall-mounting brackets.

  2. Create circuit board
    1. Design layout for single layer board
    2. Modify shape of circuitboard
    3. Carefully align components
    4. Calculate configuration and position of angle bracket holes
  3. Make a parts list with links
    1. 6 count linking wires for motherboard<->daughterboard
    2. Sound 2x4 header socket
    3. 2 @ Motherboard<->Daughterboard 2x3 header socket
  4. Order parts list
  5. Print circuit board at home
  6. Install components 
  7. Test + Verify
  8. Print PCB professionally
  9. Make all documentation public
  10. Upload correct board layout to public PCB manufacturer
